My art is about the uncertainty and the plasticity of daily experience. It is also, therefore, about exposing the processes and efforts by which we participate in the resolution of our reality. In my work the world is never a given; it is never a simple, obvious thing, sitting there waiting for us to recognize its conventionalized patterning. My work attempts to create multiple paths of relation between the art and the observer. It is therefore meant to reveal and represent the ongoing dynamic interaction of structure and symbol in human consciousness.
